Bank of Palestine was seeking to improve the overall
infrastructure of its core banking system. Serving customers in an
already volatile area was not an easy task, and guaranteeing business
continuity despite all the day to day challenges was imperative.

In order to secure capacity upgrade, improve manageability
and enable greater IT flexibility to respond to rapidly changing
business requirements, Bank of Palestine selected JBS to implement the
deployment and installation of its System p server system. The server
would consolidate and host the Bank’s core applications
with high availability, reliability and
security, ensuring business continuity in the most challenging of
situations
.

With JBS’s superior IBM technology and after-sales service,
Bank of Palestine’s growth plans could now be sustained in order to
realize continuous development in running the most critical business
applications.

JBS also installed and implemented a number of ATMs to BOP
all over the Palestinian West Bank and Gaza territories,.
Diebold ATMs were established in numerous locations, ensuring customers
had access to funds, along with conducting numerous other banking
transactions.

The Bank of Palestine implementation was successful due to
the complete solution provided by JBS for business continuity,
particularly in today’s highly competitive banking industry, where core
